The Tower at RAF Wainfleet, originally began life as an RAF Bomber Range Control Tower, set within the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. Restored into the perfect peaceful and tranquil holiday self-catering accommodation, it's fantastic for groups of up to 22 people.
Here at The Tower, there is also a communal games room equipped with a darts board, table tennis, and pool table. Alternatively, you can glamp in a Lynx Helicopter, rightly named 'Lynx Helipod'. With a bed, TV, and kettle for any refreshing brews - it's a unique experience that you couldn't get anywhere else.
Ingleborough lake is under a mile away from RAF Wainfleet. Here keen fishermen and women can enjoy trying to catch Tench, Carp, Chubb, and Barbel. On a sunny and warm day when no fishermen are casting off, jump in for a cooling swim. There's also a private seating area with a fire pit to relax, warm up after a swim, and BBQ food if you want an al fresco dining experience. Overlooking the beautiful fishing lake, endless skies, and farming fields is the newest glamping pod to grace the site, 'Kaleb the Combine' harvester.
Featured on the BBC TV show 'My Unique B&B' Kaleb is a popular choice among guests looking for unique getaways. Sleeping 2 with a king-size bed and TV, the trailer also accommodates two individuals - an agricultural enthusiast’s perfect getaway. A Jetstream is also soon to be available as a glamping experience too!
