Boston Beach Event

Join us for a summer beach celebration in Central Park!

The beach is back and will stay for the duration of the school break. Anyone can use the beach for free during the park's opening hours. This is a great way to spend some quality time with friends and family while the children play, all without leaving Boston town.

The popular beach area is offering a host of activities for all ages, all of which are free:

• Tuesday 23 July – Golden Oldies. Come and join Singing for Fun group and enjoy a sing-a-long around the beach. For those over 50 and those living with dementia and their carers. 2pm to 4pm. Deck chairs available.
• Thursday 15 and Friday 16 August – Boston Beach and Big Local Legacy Event. Two days of free family activities in Boston Central Park! Activities include: Fun games, magician, donkey rides, face painting, arts and craft, bouncy castle, beach area, climbing wall, fair rides, football shoot, urchin stilt walkers, pirates, unicyclists, jugglers, bubble ologists and giant tortoises. As well as various displays from different community groups. Bring a picnic and spend the day with us!
• Tuesday 20 August – Fun in the Sun. Come and take part in circus skills and fun games on the beach. For those living with additional support needs and their carers. 1pm to 3pm. Deck chairs available.
