Boston Food Festival

A new event is coming to Boston...

The Boston Food Festival!

Taking place across two days, the festival aims to celebrate Boston's local and multi-cultural food heritage, attract community involvement, and create a feel-good factor in the town. The festival will offer a variety of artisan street food, arts, activities, entertainment, and even a farmers market. You can expect to enjoy things like live foodie demonstrations, as well a meeting local food employers and entertainers.

Boston Stump will be divided into 5 zones for both days:

• Artisan food & drink producers selling their goods
• Local employers telling visitors about their business and job/career opportunities
• Street food vendors will be selling food in the Ingram Memorial area outside Boston Stump
• Demo and entertainment area with demonstrations by local foodies and music/performance

Other activities include:

• Friday 2nd August farmers market in the marketplace
• Saturday 3rd August usual market and Rock School Bus in the marketplace
• Mrs K’s historical pub walking tour and kids treasure hunt
• Transported art installation/live performance
• Boston Borough Council funded street entertainers

The little ones will also have a fun packed day with the activities in the 'Kids Zone' with entertainment like face-painting, glitter and balloon art, fruit and vegetable art activities, story time, and even a treasure hunt across all of Boston towns sights!

Jane Keightley will also be holding one of her iconic historical pub walking tours as part of the event.
