Boston Brilliance - Festival of Light

See Boston's town centre and iconic architecture illuminated with colour projections and light displays, celebrating the town's history and heritage.

Boston Brilliance is a two-day architectural projection festival taking place on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th February 2025. This festival will celebrate Bostons' history and heritage by transforming the town into a vibrant canvas, with its iconic landmarks lit up in spectacular projections.

The festival shall begin Friday 14th February with Boston Colleges performing arts students opening the show with spectacular choreography celebrating visual themes for Brilliance, Boston Life, and By Sea By Land. The grand switch on and illumination of the town shall then begin at 5:30pm.

Across Friday and Saturday at Boston Guildhall a series of talks by doctors, historians, and authors will be hosted. The talks will cover a range of topics from Boston’s Cultural & Architectural Legacy, Medieval Connections, Visions of the Universe, and a Virtual Exhibition Launch. Featuring Dr Joshua Blamire, Historians Neil Wright and Seb Falk, and Giles Gasper. Make sure to book your place as spaces are limited.
